Scott McGuire is a traditional landscape photographer based in the Reno-Sparks-Lake Tahoe region in Northwest Nevada. Scott's passion is capturing amazing landscapes while painted with beautiful light and has afforded him the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful and unique places in not only the United States, but the entire world. The Sierra Nevada mountain range offers breathtaking scenery and has become Scott's artistic focus. Scott also enjoys shooting historical locations and buildings. His inspiration and methods come from studying Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell, Tom Till, Elizabeth Carmel and various other artists.

Scott’s photography has been featured in several publications, several prominent and National Park websites, on local news channels and used by several tourism departments. Scott also conducts private photography workshops from basic to advanced photography. Scott currently resides in Sparks, Nevada and is originally from Columbus, Ohio.
